Carabao Group Wins Thailand’s Top Corporate Brand 2024 Award for Food & Beverage for Third Consecutive Year

Carabao Group Public Company Limited has achieved the distinction of having the highest corporate brand value in Thailand for 2024 in the Food and Beverage category, with a brand value of Baht 89,115 million. The announcement was made at the ASEAN and Thailand’s Top Corporate Brands 2024 event, hosted by the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University. This marks the third consecutive year the company has received this honor. 

Kamoldist Smuthkochorn, Deputy Managing Director of Carabao Group Public Company Limited, representing the company, received Thailand’s Top Corporate Brands 2024 honorary plaque from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, at the Chulalongkorn University Auditorium on January 30, 2025. 

According to the Deputy Managing Director of Carabao Group, the award reflects the company's vision of "World Class Product, World Class Brand," emphasizing continuous brand development and strategic investments, driving exponential growth through innovative marketing strategies aligned with emerging trends. 

Carabao’s success is driven not only by strengthening its brand domestically but also by gaining global recognition. This is exemplified by its role as the title sponsor of the Carabao Cup (EFL League Cup), one of England’s oldest football competitions. Carabao has been a continuous supporter of this tournament since 2017, with its current contract extending until the 2026-27 season, making it the longest-serving sponsor in the competition’s history. 

 

 

In addition, Carabao Group prioritizes sustainability by implementing various initiatives that reflect its commitment to responsible growth and development, aligning with global standards. This includes ensuring transparency through the disclosure of key environmental, social, and governance (ESG) information, as well as upholding environmental policies and ethical business practices with its partners. 

 


The ASEAN and Thailand’s Top Corporate Brands 2024 was organized by the Master of Brand Management and Marketing Program, Department of Marketing, Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University. Held for the 15
th consecutive year, the event recognizes organizations with the highest corporate brand value in Thailand and ASEAN. 

Prof. Emeritus Dr. Guntalee Rueanrom teamed up with Assist. Prof. Dr. Ake Pattaratanakun to conduct research on "Corporate Brand Valuation in Thailand and ASEAN in 2024" using the CBS Valuation tool, a systematic corporate brand valuation method widely recognized in academic circles. The study aims to encourage businesses in Thailand and the region to appreciate the importance of developing strong corporate brands to enhance competitive potential sustainably. 

This research has been conducted for 15 consecutive years, with Chulalongkorn University annually announcing the listed companies with the highest corporate brand values in each business category within the industry group.
